On November 10 and November 17, CFSIC conducted its annual home inspector/engineer certification and re-certification program. A number of persons attending the classes did not pass the exam and will be unable to participate. Read more
On November 10, CFSIC held its first 2022-23 engineer and home inspector certification program. This was to re-certify existing professionals who have been certified over the past year, as well as certify, for the first time, new applicants to the program. Read more
CFSIC has paid to date $95,979,678 in Type 1 claims and $9,059,523 in Type 2 claims, for a total of $105,039,201. Read more
CFSIC’s annual audited financial for the fiscal period ending June 30, 2022 is in its final stages of review with CFSIC’s independent auditor. It will be reviewed with the Board of Directors at the upcoming CFSIC Annual Meeting. Once approved, it will be posted as a link on CFSIC’s website, as have the last three audited financials. To date, 56 Severity Class 2 homeowners have gotten Participation Agreements, with construction valued at $9,026,227…and we are particularly pleased to report that, of this number, 21 remediations have been completed, representing $3,187,848 in completed construction. Read more
