We’re pleased to report that fewer and fewer CFSIC claimants are categorized as Inactive. Right now, we have a total of 13 Inactive claimants (not counting Pending claimants who cannot be made Active, or even Inactive, for the foreseeable future). Read more
With a home in Ellington, with a total CFSIC remediation cost of $174,946, we got to 238 foundations replaced as of last Friday. We are also pleased to report that many more contractor deposits have been paid securing construction contracts for condominiums, which means that construction can be scheduled and condominiums can take an active part in accessing the CHFA loan program. During this past week, more good news for condos emerged. First, the CHFA loan program has been statutorily augmented to expand low-interest loan availability to condominium associations. We thank Governor Lamont for signing this legislation.Read more
