CFSIC remains in suspension for the taking of new applications. It will be in suspension for months. We do not know when it will come out of suspension, but we will keep the public informed of what we know and when we know it. Read more
As of last Friday, CFSIC had registered a total of 556 Severity Class 3 claims. Inside this number are 35 claimants actively in litigation against their insurers, which means they are inactive claims. In addition, 33 claimants await word from their insurance companies as to their claims pending…which means they too are inactive until they are accepted or declined by those insurers. Lastly, 37 claimants remain inactive for other various reasons. Read more
In the past two weeks, CFSIC has disbursed more than $2 million in new construction deposits (now that we are out of suspension for new Participation Agreements), construction progress payments on work already underway, and payments to Type 2 claimants. Read more
As of Friday, we have provided 61 completed Participation Agreements to homeowners who have been waiting in line since June 19. As homeowners sign these agreements, and the Superintendent countersigns them, these foundation projects have moved quickly into the scheduling phase of construction. Read more
CFSIC is out of suspension for the signing of Participation Agreements. Over the weekend our team provided Participation Agreements to 61 claimants in line. We also processed more than 40 emails alerting others in line as to the approximate date on which they can expect to receive their Participation Agreement. Read more

CFSIC has 1,195 identified claimants in-house. Our robust electronic application platform has been able to identify almost 45 claimants per week since the inception of our program. Read more
As of Friday, September 13, CFSIC had 1,196 Type 1 and Type 2 claimants recognized as in our system. That is 84 more claimants than we had reported as of August 31. The application process was turned off at 5:00 PM on September 6, and clearly many people realized that time was growing short. Read more
